剧情：
在位于埼玉县的某个乡下小镇，留着超级夸张爆炸头的田中广（松田翔太 饰）度过了浑浑噩噩的童年、少年和青年时代，在自作主张从高中退学之后，他作别了死党大泽（堤下敦 饰）、冈本（田中圭 饰）、井上（驹木根隆介 饰）和村田（远藤要 饰），只身前往大都会东京谋生。供职于某隧道挖掘公司的田中，日复一日劳作，不知不觉迎来了24岁的生日。某天他收到井上的结婚请帖，这才想起来和好友们当年的约定：无论将来谁结婚，其他人都要带着自己的女友出席。眼看好友们和各自或平凡或美艳的女友出双入对，卿卿我我，田中心中分外焦急。就在此时，美丽温柔的女邻居加藤亚矢（佐佐木希 饰）出现在他的面前，令废柴田中燃起爱情的希望……本片根据漫画家乘附雅春（のりつけ雅春）的人气系列漫画“痞子田中（アフロ田中）”中的《上京田中》改编
